When my husband invited me for a visit in the Butterfly Garden, also in Puerto Princesa City, i was not thrilled. I was never been to the place, and "butterfly garden" is not as "sensational" (so i thought) than other tourist attractions here. It was like he was inviting me to go to the market.
But then, when we arrived at the place,
i was in awe. Yes, the place is (as i expected), small, not that sensational. But it is magical: it was like I'm in fairy tale books. Butterflies in all sizes and colors are alive, surrounding you fearlessly as if you are a natural part of their community. the place was -- very romantic, with the mini lagoon, lover's bench, flowers here and there, so perfect! I regret not knowing the place earlier, I could have had my wedding there. It will definitely provide the privacy and romantic moods every couple would want. I love to go back there again. Yes, maybe this weekend with the kids!
